Job Description
- Contribute to technologies planning sessions per technology/product.
- Focus on establishing the best technology solution to meet a specific business need.
- Work as for first line of support with users for network and IP Telephony related issues.
- Interface with Internet Service providers for communication lines troubleshooting and configuration.
- Interface with different technology vendors and suppliers and lead the technical discussions in all related technologies.
- Interface with different Information Technology Department and other stakeholders like procurement to technical coordinate the process of Raising Purchase orders.
- Build and improve ICT & Cyber Security documentations and designs.
- Design, LANs, WANs, VPN, APN networks, including routers, switches, Cal Manager, IP Phones, Gateways, CME and other hardware.
- Provide needed technical configuration changes and deployments on wired and wireless Network components “switches, routers, wireless controllers and access points”.
- Provide needed administration tasks on Cisco Unified Communication Manager like adding phones, transferring users from headphones to soft-phones,, etc.
- Provide needed support tasks to Audio video solutions for meeting and conference rooms, i.e. smart-boards, projectors, Crestron solutions. Digital Signage solutions like Appspace and View,,, etc.
- Provide needed supervision for passive installations i.e. patching and passive installations.
- Create and Build commissioning plans in accordance with project guidelines.
- Guarantee network best practices are executed through auditing: routers, switches, wireless access points, and controllers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology /Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science.
- 5-7 years of experience in ICT, Infrastructure and security projects, execution/commissioning background with an understanding of various network and security systems (Network, VOIP, Audio Visual, passive, etc.)
- Professional certifications CCNA, CCNP equivalent.
- AV Experience is preferred.
- Very good English
