Job Description
- Provide field service repairs, training, and installations as scheduled.
- Assist production with final machine testing and checkout.
- Train customers on proper operation, maintenance and safety rules of customer equipment.
- Coordinate development activities and upgrades related to updating and improving machine functionality.
- Provide support to customers, Customer Service, and Sales, as required.
- Interact with Sales Managers/Project Managers on customer equipment needs/concerns and/or updates.
- Participate in training in order to maintain technical expertise and proficiency in applicable/new equipment and applications through internal training.
- Process expense and detailed trip report on all service orders, in a timely fashion.
- Support other departments and functions.
Job Requirements
Competencies:
- Demonstrated advanced mechanical skills.
- Basic electrical and software (PLC, motion control, HMI) skills.
- Good knowledge in assembly and solving problems intervention.
- Define instruments, methods, and procedures for solving the tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, from production to management.
- Strong customer service focus.
Education:
- A. degree in Engineering or similar study required.
- 2-5 years of work experience in a comparable position.
- Language: Arabic and English. Additionally: French or/and German is an advantage.
- Males only due to the work’s nature.
Physical Requirements
- Good physical condition and “hands-on” work.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel, both domestic and international up to 80% of the time.
