Assess customer hosts Linux/Unix/Solaris 10,11 environments and Identify any potential threats
- Identify systems' weaknesses and potential threats to customer Solaris hosts.
- Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.
- Deliver technical security assessments and recommendations.
- Research and advice about security standards.
- Regular risk auditing and monitoring of systems.
- Provide advice on operating systems hacking tools and techniques.
- Operating systems Compliance implementation, testing, and reporting.
- Documentation
- Troubleshooting
- Working with Oracle Support on resolving issues
- Daily health checks
- Pro-active maintenance
- Knowledge of Oracle troubleshooting tools
Job Requirements
- Oracle Certified Profession/Other UN|IX/Linux Certification
- Experience in Unix/Linux/Oracle Solaris 10,11 Security.
- Experience in Oracle Supercluster platform.
- Experience in Oracle SPARC platform.
- Experience in Linux/Oracle SPARC Virtualization.
- Ability to travel between clients
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Be able to work overtime and standby when required
- Be able to work both in a team and alone
- Report on progress and raise issues/problems when necessary
