Job Description
- Receive guidelines and Instructions from the Technical manager, and distribute work among the team.
- Design review.
- Supervise maintaining the structural technical quality of the team deliverables.
- Ability to create a 3D structural revit model for coordination, quantity surveying, material takeoff.
- Supervise and monitor updating structural BIM Model according to findings and reports of design review and peer review.
- Collaborate and Coordinate with all disciplines ( Arch. , MEP, Civil works) through 2D CAD drawings or Revit 3D Models.
- Raising RFI if needed due to clashes or design problems (if needed).
- Value Engineering of structural design to minimize cost if possible.
- Preparation of method of statements.
- To coordinate with the site team and solve site problems.
- Review structural shop drawings, Revit models through (Revit & Navisworks) and prepare clash reports.
- Ability to study projects in the tender stage cost analysis & estimation, submit technical tender offers.
- Help in evaluating drafting/modeling productivity and performance of his team.
