Job Description
- We are looking for a Professional Microsoft SQL Server database administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, integrity, security and performance of SQL Server RDBMS systems.
- Also will be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- In this role, you will keeping an eye on databases and ensuring operational readiness (security, health and performance) as well, executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes
- Monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Building high available and quality DB Design.
- Sustaining the security and integrity of data.
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
- Refine the physical design to meet system storage requirements.
- Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans.
- Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.
- Familiar with daily DB operational work.
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
- Refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model.
- Assisting in database design.
- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Setting up and testing new database and data handling systems.
- Creating complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted.
This job will be as an out-sourcing for a semi-government organization for 2+ years contract and who is specialist with Microsoft SQL database mainly (NOT Oracle)
Priority for Saudi Nationality and who hold transferable Iqama in Riyadh (or can relocate to Riyadh from inside KSA) and who can speak Arabic Language.
Visa can be offered for the matching candidates only
Iqama can be transferred after probation period

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification.
- 5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining database servers.
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
- Familiarity with programming languages API.
- Strong communication skills.
