Job Description
- Supervising the Communication support and Communications controller’s teams (Voice & Data) in the performance of their duties and in the general execution of the day-to-day activities through Xceed infrastructure.
Your role will be:
- Manage the Communications Support team in Troubleshooting and resolving PBX (Cisco & Avaya) and data network problems.
- Track and analyze fault histories in the long term resolution of intermittent problems.
- Escalate unsolved problems according to the escalation procedures.
- Prepare regular reports regarding the PBX and the data network performance.
- Receive inquiries from different teams regarding current or planned projects and takes appropriate action to resolve problems or plan for upgrades.
- Analyze and ensure the reliability of the communications systems on a regular basis to provide highest level of performance, availability, and security.
- Send Incident Notification reports to different depts. before planned outage.
- Develop training plans to enhance team's planning skills.
- Plan shift schedule
- On-call in case of emergency.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Communications and Electronics Engineering from a well-recognized university.
- Technical Expert level Certifications and training related to PBXs (Cisco, Avaya) and data networks.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support. 3 years experience as a team leader in network/PBX/ACD support operations.
- Professional Certificate in CCNP
- Professional Certificate in Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) with experience in Automatic call distribution (ACD)
- Excellent Command of the English Language
