Job Description

Role Summary:As part of the Service team, the eCommerce leader will play a key role in implementation, management and promotion of an eCommerce platform for the GE Healthcare service offering in Egypt.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • This role provides a unique opportunity to drive sales through eCommerce. With a specific focus on driving eCommerce success, this role works closely with a broad cross-section of the commercial & technical teams. This role will be responsible for driving ongoing commercial activation of the eCommerce platform working with regional commercial teams, and for the continued operational deployment of platform enhancements.
    By working closely with the eCommerce/Sales/Marketing leaders in the Egypt teams, and with the Global eCommerce team, you will
  • Define and execute commercial activation of the eCommerce channel for Egypt, to include customer acquisition and retention, content strategy and product pricing
  • With Marketing Communications, drive a digital omni-channel marketing strategy that supports eCommerce success and the generation of new, strong sales leads for the sales team
  • Monitor and evaluate channel and program results, profit contribution and recommend program refinements and deliver ongoing performance communications.
  • Refine campaigns and strategy based on engagement, conversion, performance and ROI.
  • Coordinate/Validate new eCommerce platform features deployment
  • Support the end customer on the functional usage of web and resolution for any escalation
  • Support the country on training sessions
  • Support catalog expansion and assist/support country on catalog pricing setup
  • Build development roadmap aligned with growth/commercial opportunities
  • Support service customer operation (Service center & Logistics) under supervision of customer operation leader for Egypt.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • eCommerce platform deployment and channel management experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Fluent Business English – both written and spoken is a must
    Nice to have qualifications/requirements
  • Web solutions/ IT project management
  • eCommerce project management experience; B2B eCommerce nice to have
  • Familiarity with UX / eCommerce /international project management
  • Good background in logistics transactions
