Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Implement assigned tasks regarding software development and reporting that reflects business needs. Technology used is Oracle E-Business Suite application and Oracle Database.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand what can be done or what needs to be changed
- Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
- Design and develop technical solutions for enterprise-level projects
- Design the custom and non-custom solutions’ architecture
- Responsible for Front end graphical user interface design
- Customize existing systems to meet the business needs of the company
- Work on integration projects and data migrations to transfer data from legacy systems
- Support and troubleshoot issues that arise when programming and coding
- Develop and write high quality coding that meets customer requirements
- Responsible of Oracle ERP application forms & reports development and customizations.
- Solve Business Applications problems and propose preventative solutions as well
- Manage reactive level support for the ERP applications
- Responsible for end-user support with varying degrees of technical abilities for Oracle R12 Financial, Supply Chain, Logistics modules; Purchasing & Inventory & Oracle Projects suite; Management, contracts & Costing.
- Perform testing & customization tasks in new Business Applications implementations in his/her assigned area and expand those already implementedApply data integrity & information security mechanisms taking into consideration minimal business disruption
- Drive internal customer satisfaction by actively monitoring the end-user experience and creating action plans to address significant issues
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Work Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 ERP Systems
PC Knowledge:
- Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications, query and control languages, programming languages, and database systems.
Technical skills:
- Oracle Forms, Oracle ERP E-Business Suite, SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience with source control management systems.
- Experience with database development
Special requirements:
- Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
