Job Description
- Manage and support the Data Center Infrastructure including (Storage, Servers, OS and Backup System)
- Manage All Upgrades , Security Patches and Fixes for the whole Data Center Infrastructure (Storage , Servers , OS and Backup System)
- Troubleshoot system and OS level issues at scale across multiple systems
- Manage Security Patches and custom packages for all Systems (Servers, Storage and OS (Linux/Windows)
- Mentoring of other System Engineers within the team including technical documentation and training.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any field
- Technical experience in:
- Linux (Oracle Linux/RH preferred)
- General Networking understanding (switches, routing, firewalls).
- Monitoring/Alerting/Logging Services and correlating patterns
- Understanding of Auth/Directory services
- Understanding of storage concepts
- Virtualization
- Knowledge of Microsoft products is desirable
- Strong experience in datacenter infrastructure with expertise in
- Storage technologies
- Experience working with large and dynamic server farms, preferably in the Financial Sector.
- Experience working in a large enterprise organization and dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, approachable, and adaptable and have excellent communication skills (both strong written and verbal English is a must).
