  • Initiate and pursue legal proceedings as required by the Company
  • Research and prepare legal opinions on various civil matters including claims for compensation against the Company.
  • Studying the corporate legal problems referred to him in accordance with the legal rules and regulations.
  • Draft and/or review legal letters, contracts, and agreements and monitor legal obligations under agreements to ensure compliance, as requested.
  • Submit all judgments to the Legal Officer supporting the Loss Reduction Division diligently.
  • Submit quarterly reports on targets achieved together with an appraisal report to the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Cause to be maintained, a database of the status of all court matters involving the Company.
  • Represent the Company at Arbitration and legal disputes in the courts and official bodies
  • Following the legal proceedings filed by the company or against it and make sure to take appropriate legal procedures to preserve the rights of the company and achieve its objectives.
  • Examines the administrative referred to him by the departments and sections of the company and investigates them and raises their legal recommendations to the managing director.
  • Review the drafting of contracts and agreements concluded between the company and others to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and decisions in force to ensure the rights of the company before signing from the departments concerned.
  • Continues all necessary legal procedures to register the company's trademarks and continuously monitors new laws and decisions in order to draw conclusions regarding the company's activities in all fields and notify its departments.
  • Supervises technically the legal affairs of branches in relation to contracts advisory opinions and investigations.
  • Take legal action relating to the collection of the company's receivables with third parties.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree / Master in Law
  • English language - very good
  • Admin skills
  • Minimum of 3 years Experience As a corporate lawyer.
  • Ability to Handle & Advice with international Legal matters.
  • Experience in review legal letters, contracts and agreements and monitor legal obligations under agreements to ensure compliance,
  • Experience in representing the Company at Arbitration and Public Utilities Commission hearings
  • Experience in Advising on civil matters that should be directed to external counsel.
  • Liaise with and assist external Counsel in the discharge of their obligation to GPL
  • Experience in reporting Reports to Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Preferred to have experience in listed companies.
