Job Description
- Lead a group of technical resources as well as being responsible for delivering & owning streams of critical Big Data & Analytics applications to ensure business continuity & competitive edge.
- Interface with customers & maintain good relationships & customer satisfaction.
- Lead team members responsible for delivering Advanced Analytics systems & integration solutions serving various commercial requirements.
- Responsible for configuration, support & operations of SAS (Enterprise Guide, Campaign Management System)
- Plan and Design new application operations services related to SAS Analytics & CMS based on new requirements and Major and Minor Enhancements.
- Create a test environment and work with key users to plan and execute an application test.
- Ensure that project plans delivered by the PM team is correct & in sync with the project scope & milestones.
- Review requirements and validate technical feasibility.
- Align with the project tasks & due dates to ensure on-time project deliverables.
- Report required project resources, progress & risks on time to PM.
- Ensure all delivered tasks fulfill the requirements & well tested.
- Document the integration solution architecture & ensure the detailed design of the solution is available for all projects.
- Report & on-time escalation of project issues, resolve issues between team members.
- Ensure successful release building & preparations of handover documents are complete prior to project handover to proper teams.
- Research development technologies & evaluate new trends to enhance quality & efficiency.
- Ensure that all submitted integration artifacts have undergone unit testing.
- Ensure the proper build of releases with at least 90% success rate for each application deployment.
- Ensure the proper release & handover documents are prepared & submitted to the proper teams.
- Analysis of application changes for the data center side and support development
- Communication to stakeholders and users about changes in the application environment
- Support application strategy and architecture planning on request
- Act according to an agreed-on approval chain for implementing changes and enhancements
- Assist application development and management instances with release planning
Job Requirements
- Years of Experience: 5+ years
- Better to have Big Data experience in the Telecom sector.
- Excellent knowledge & hands-on experience about DWH & Big Data modules and life cycle.
- Excellent DB and Unix Skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Excellent Business Analytical Skills.
- Has exposure to different Data Analytics technologies & tools like;
- Data Mining
- Data Monetization
- CLA
- Big Data Eco-Systems like;
- Hive
- Kafka
- Machine Learning
- Excellent knowledge & hands-on SAS platform. (Enterprise Guide & CMS)
