Job Description

Role Purpose

As a full-time member of the Environment, Health & Safety Team, the EHS Manager will be responsible for supporting the Regional EHS Manager in the management of the company health, safety and environmental risk management strategy that enables the IFM business to comply with cultural, client and statutory requirements in its Facilities Management operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating leadership in health, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring that the company EHS Management System and Standards are applied across the company managed client properties.
  • Ensuring alignment and compliance with all client EHS policies and practices.
  • Facilitating the delivery and management of EHS at an account level, supporting account staff to achieve compliance and performance reporting against all the company and their client set EHS metrics and KPI’s
  • Supporting a program for training, audit, measurement and reporting EHS performance against agreed standards.
  • Promoting a positive, proactive EHS culture and influencing stakeholders.
  • Implementing practical risk management strategies.
  • Provide guidance and advice on health and safety risk management at all levels of the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Very Good - Excellent Command of English Language.
  • Understanding of facilities management.
  • Familiar with the implementation of health and safety systems and processes.
  • Relevant EHS experience, working with corporate clients.
  • Practical working knowledge of up-to-date EHS tools and techniques.
  • Practical experience of problem-solving H & S issues in a dynamic/diverse environment.
  • Accident /incident investigation and reporting.
  • Ideally, Degree qualified EHS related qualification
  • As a minimum GradIOSH (Graduate Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) or national equivalent an advantage.
  • Auditor Qualifications are desirable.
