Job Description
- Helping build continuous integration, infrastructure, and platform automation tools and spreading the DevOps philosophy throughout our teams
- Working directly with developers to bring new features and services online by helping them incorporate their code and tests within the product.
- Work closely with Software Architects and R&D to help configure and scale services and systems and ensure smooth data flow.
- Definition of tools and processes for configuration management of systems. Candidate must ensure zero-downtime releases and maintenance.
- Provisioning of Staging / Testing and Production Deployments using automated methodologies
- Management of container-based applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability of services including fault detection, alerting and recovery (automated and manual).
- Providing server support during deployment and general production with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Provide Knowledge Base for all DevOps procedures.
Job Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or any other relevant Engineering degree is a must.
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Arabic languages is a must.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Bamboo …etc.)
- Strong work ethics and high level of accuracy.
- Strong experience in Server Administration.
- Experience with Build Tools (Maven, Gradle, Webpack …etc.)
- Experience with Version Control System using Git
- Experience in Networks with hands-on experience to offer load balancing solutions over TCP
- Understanding of network security principles and data security
- Experience in Automating Infrastructure (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, …etc.)
- Experience in monitoring infrastructures as well as services.
