Job Description
The local economic/finance expert will work closely with the international expert to perform the following tasks
- Develop a stocktaking study on the FfD in Egypt including the traditional and non-traditional sources of finance based on AAAA classification and framework.
- Identify the major government and non-government initiatives linked to FfD and how these initiatives are geared to achieve some specific SDGs.
- Develop a gap analysis on the current FfD mechanisms in Egypt (traditional and non-traditional) and international experiences.
- Provide recommendations and policy actions to maximize the benefits from the traditional sources while relying on other non-traditional sources of finance.
Identify the areas that need revamping in order to enhance FfD in Egypt based on AAAA framework
Job Requirements
- PH.D. in economic/Finance.
- At least 15 years of professional experience in one or more of the above-mentioned development areas.
- Experience working with the Government of Egypt on policy reforms related to one or more of the above-mentioned development areas.
- Excellent reporting and writing skills.
