Job Description

  • Development of manufacturing policies in line with the Group's vision, mission and general objectives.
  • Review the policies of the various plant departments and approve them in accordance with the policy of manufacturing.
  • Ensure the establishment, deployment and application of occupational safety and health systems and environment in the group in accordance with international standards.
  • Supervise the application and development of Ahram Manufacturing System (AMS) in line with the latest international manufacturing systems to support the Group's ability to compete globally.
  • Identification of plant needs for resources for manufacturing and development (human resources - machinery and equipment - industrial expenditure - projects).
  • Establish the annual industrial budget of the plant in coordination with the financial management.
  • Establish systems to control industrial expenditures so that they do not exceed the annual budget.
  • Setting performance standards for factory departments in line with the group's objectives.
  • Evaluate the periodic performance of department managers in the factory and review and approve the periodic evaluation of factory workers.
  • Work to encourage factory workers to develop, innovate and continuously improve.
  • Follow up the application of quality control systems to ensure that the products of the group comply with the standards.
  • Follow up the application of maintenance systems for equipment and buildings to ensure the efficiency of equipment and buildings and reduce the breakdown and preserve the assets of the group.
  • Follow up the implementation of energy conservation systems, which contribute to the protection of the environment and reduce industrial costs.
  • Ensure that factory work systems comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems in coordination with Quality Assurance Department.
  • Work with human resource management to develop the skills of factory workers and develop training needs in order to raise efficiency and increase productivity and change the culture towards global competition.
  • Follow-up continuous coordination between the factory and supply management and planning to work to achieve the targets and sales plans monthly and annual.
  • Follow-up continuous coordination between the factory and technical management to support the development of processes and products and the introduction of new products.
  • Follow-up continuous coordination between the factory and financial management to ensure control of industrial costs and inventory control.
  • Participation, guidance and support of the members of the administration to contribute to the effectiveness of the system of quality and environmental management and occupational safety and health.
  • Supporting the role of management to highlight its leadership on its areas of responsibility for quality management systems, environment, occupational safety and health.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • A university qualification, Engineering is preferred.

Previous experience:

  • At least 15 years of experience, including 3 years as a factory manager.
