Job Description
- Report to: Project Manager
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site with the contractor to ensure all work is in accordance with all relevant documents and specification.
- Take actions to deal with delays or emergencies on site.
- Confer with other supervisory personnel, contractor, and design professionals to discuss and resolve construction problems.
- Schedule project sections in logical steps to meet deadlines.
- Study job specifications to determine if construction methods are appropriate.
- Develop and implement quality control parameters.
- Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of methods.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (Structure).
- A min. of ( 8 ) yrs. experience in Architecture or engineering ( 5 ) of which supervising construction of large projects.
- Familiar with design issues.
- Knowledge of project management principals, methods & techniques.
- Ability to manage and liaise with a wide variety of people including construction work force.
- Able to think in 3D and communicate ideas effectively to other people.
- Good command of English language.
