Job Description

  • Assures fulfillment of the cycle marketing/sales objectives within his/her district and throughout each territory.
  • Plans for the general skills development of the representatives reporting to him/her.
  • Plans the overall activities of the representatives under his/her supervision.
  • In association with the representative, develops a territory work plan that assures fulfillment of the marketing/promotional objectives.
  • Plans and conducts a regular sales meeting that assures delineation of plans, as well as practice sessions as to the efficient utilization of the promotional materials.
  • Continuously reviews representatives training in product knowledge, knowledge of competitors, the sales techniques, administrative duties and company policies. Accomplishes this through on the job training as well as during sales meeting sessions.
  • Motivates and develops representatives through frequent field visits, sales meetings and written communication (e.g.; Planning and execution of reports).
  • Directs the activities of the representatives through frequent field visits, sales meetings, and written communication (e.g.; Planning and execution of reports).
  • Reviews all customer contact activities in every area to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in coordination with sales representatives, in order to create positive impact on company image and business goals.
  • Coordinates with the distribution department to insure prompt delivery of sales commitments as well as efficient contentment of market demands.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and medical representatives under his/her supervision.
  • Submits reports to his/her direct manager on his/her daily activities, promotional programs, competitor’s activities, the overall performance of his/her area including preparing a written evaluation of individual field visits.
  • Supports and directs the application of company polices, regulations, and management rules/directions. Handles misunderstandings promptly and fairly with the scope of his authority and practices of the company.
  • Consistently reviews and analyzes the performance records of his/her area and each representative reporting to him/her. Determine where performance deviates from established goals and investigates the cause for lack of progress. Takes remedial action.
  • Conducts periodical Performance Appraisal sessions with each representative under his/her supervision.
  • Recruits, assists in the selection and orient new representatives to the job.
  • Keep a personal and subordinate image that reflects the company’s projected image to the pharmaceutical market.
  • Keep and update a continuously updated data list of the medical community targeted in terms of availability, opinion influence referral power and other related information.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in pharmacy, science, veterinary ,medicine.
  • 3 years of experience with at least two years’ experience as a medical representative in Cosmetics
  • Very good in English
  • Ability to work well through others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate.
  • Positive response to pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge about products, diseases, and competitors across the company / division health care categories.
