Job Overview
Responsible for applying interactive and visual design principles on websites and web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience. These developers use HTML, CSS, and other design tools to achieve responsive designs. also assisted by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application integration and logic.
Job Duties
- Determining the structure and design of web pages.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Ensuring web design optimized for smartphones.
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout design.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer.
- 2+ years’ experience as a UI/UX designer.
- 2+ years’ experience using front end frameworks such as Vuejs, Reactjs, Angular.
- A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.).
- Expert knowledge of HTML and its best practices.
- Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using {{ Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc. }}.
- A history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users showcased in the form of blog posts, articles, screencasts, etc.
- Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
