Job Description
Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Lead, direct and evaluate the department team in achieving established departmental goals and objectives.
- Implement the in/out transactions for ensuring that the actual balance is consistent with the financial records.
- Responsible for final sales invoice review and posting by checking the invoices’ coding and supporting documents.
- Review the accounts payable due amounts and schedule payments in coordination with the accounts payable accountant.
- Supervise the inventory and GAFI Accountant in controlling the stock levels of the Free Zone Warehouses.
- Follow up on the principal transactions with the Principals Coordinator to ensure that all expenditures items are listed in order to recharge back the principal.
- Implement the COS data entry on the general ledger accounting Module and review the accrual account..
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records for each of the inventory items and the FA in the Free Zone and also implementing inventory physical count for the store items.
- Review the payroll, prepare the payments wire transfers and determine the cost centers according to each department.
- Review tax decelerations prepared by the relevant accountant and monitor tax settlements conducted with the concerned authorities.
- Determine the gross margin and profit and loss according to the general ledger transactions.
- Review the trial balance and make necessary adjustments if
- needed.
- Settle and reconcile the company’s accounting balance with sister companies in different locations.
- Reconcile all the/ERP modules /GP modules /Sub modules and ensuring the integrity of the system.
- Review regular and ad hoc financial accounting reports before their transmittal to intended key users.
- Prepaid the monthly financial package with all the foot notes.
- Supervise the external audits activities and ensure the implementation of their recommended actions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor degree of Commerce.
- Experience: Minimum of 9 years of experience in the same field.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Languages: Very Good English.
- Computer Skills: Excellent Knowledge of Ms. Office (Word, Excel, Power Point… etc)
