Job Description
- Take the lead on identifying the right problems to solve in order to improve fraudulent behaviour detection
- Define the payment risk data science roadmap together with our Head of Payment Risk
- Develop end-to-end understanding of our payment risk tool including technical implementation
- Coordinate with our risk tech/product/risk analysts to improve online payment risk management
- Stay up-to-date with the state of the art machine learning techniques of classification
- Design and implement state of the art machine learning approaches
- Drive payment risk testing strategy and insights gathering
- Propose innovation for the risk management feature
Job Requirements
- PhD or Master degree (with 5+ years of experience) in data science or similar field
- Entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset
- Good communication skills, ability to promote complex topics to a non technical audience
- Be an expert in Data Analysis, Clustering, Classification and Anomaly Detection
- Highly proficient in Python, Spark and Hortonworks is a plus
- Extremely hands on in building Machine Learning products
- Experience in building data products and crunching terabytes of data
- A good portfolio of machine learning projects with a significant impact on the bottom line
- Familiarity with Deep Learning is a plus
