Job Description
Job Summary:
- He is the main HSE contact person for the shift (and or during the day)
- Implement the HSE procedures during the shift.(and or during the day)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow and approve all jobs safety work permits and isolations
- Participate in incidents investigation and follow the implementation of corrective actions
- Conduct site inspection on a regular basis and during new activities onsite.
- Conduct firefighting systems inspections and follow up on its operation
- Assessing workplace for the potential hazards with safety impact on employees and contractors.
- Authorized to stop any unsafe behavior / conditions or unsafe work activities in the site.
- Deliver internal safety training to employees.
- Coordinate all issues related to safety with other departments and client safety team to be resolved.
- Lead emergency drills during shifts
- Supervise and run orientation to all new comers (visitors or contractors)
- Prepare daily safety report
- Distribute and record PPE to employees
- Participate in the safety inspections program
- Report NCRs to HSE Manager
- Collection and resolving of hazard reports
- Conduct safety communications (TBT, Timeout, Contractor meetings, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Able To work in shifts, preferably experience in cement industry.
Major:
- Mechanical, Electrical, chemical engineer or chemist
Knowledge and specific Experience:
- Overall experience 3+ years.
- Min 2 years of experience preferred in the same field.
- OSHA, NASP, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent
- English proficiency
- Computer literacy
