Job Description

General Administrative Duties

  • Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable formal reports.
  • Monitor all commercial information in relation to project including labor, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting
  • Supply all relevant information to the Projects Control Manager for review at the specified intervals set.
  • Assist Projects Control Manager with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.

Technical Duties

  • Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
  • Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
  • Commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
  • Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
  • Prepare all of quantity survey sheets according to final drawing its already approved for all projects.
  • Prepare all of contractors and subcontractors invoices and revise it with execution section heads.
  • Revise the quantity at the invoices with the bill of quantity for the projects if meet any changes.
  • Review and revise the contractors and subcontractors invoices with finance department.
  • Review with finance department payable sheets for the contractors and subcontractors.

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Education

  • Bachelor in Engineering or a Related field

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent in Arabic and English language.

Minimum Required Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of litigation and business
  • Being able to negotiate, delegate and plan
  • Implementing construction technology and cost planning knowledge
  • Communication, negotiating , logistics and team work
  • Being technologically savvy
  • Managing budgets and projects
  • Familiarity with construction materials and methods
  • Financial management and business regulations
  • Being innovative and self-motivated
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Professional Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Budget handling skills
  • Excellent IT and maths skills
  • A methodical approach to work
  • Good organizational skills
  • Understanding of Building Regulations and other legal guidelines
