Job Description

Basic Purpose and Job Description:

  • Monitor the parts inventory performance, stock turn and customer satisfaction (service percentage).
  • Work closely with the IM department providing the best solutions when required.
  • Ensure adequate communication on parts inventory-related issues to all stakeholders.
  • Follow-up on the processes/action plan to improve continuously the inventory performance.
  • Provide assistance when and where needed for special IM complex tasks.

Primary Job Roles:

  • Generate a Group parts operation management information system (GPOMIS) and parts operation management information system (POMIS) through an up to date Database (9 presentations).
  • Follow up Month End reports and stock evaluation reports.
  • Database full record update and validation.
  • Provide a monthly lead time report to the logistic team and Mantrac Egypt.
  • Provide Unatrac International, limited, free zone, Reman and KBR inventory snapshot to Finance through the Database.
  • Update and Send CAT Parts Operations KPI’s
  • Send the Protection report on a monthly basis.
  • Send the Surplus report on a monthly basis.
  • Send Rapid Response Return report on Monthly Basis.
  • Send the Territorial Concept report on a quarterly basis.
  • Send consultations and recommendations for each and every generated report.
  • Provide Ideas to assist BU in identifying the area for improvement and the best way to solve
  • Update and send DPAT File.
  • Liaise with BU parts operation mangers to set DPAT Priorities.
  • Generate DPAT action Plan and send it to BUs.
  • A complete Follow up for DPAT action Plan through all available communication channels.
  • Monthly Parameters review.
  • Generate Stock replenishment run reports on a weekly basis.
  • Generate Rolling business Management report on a monthly basis.
  • Generate a Return Analysis on request.
  • Update and send parts operation managers KPI’s on a Monthly Basis.
  • Handle all inquiries in the Parts Inventory Control Mail Box within 24 hours.
  • Handle all the queries received from the Business units through the Data Base along with the needed comments.
  • Generate a Parts inventory control Monthly work plan.

Job Requirements

Background and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or University degree in any of the following fields:
  • Faculty of Engineering.
  • Faculty of Commerce (Preferably English Section).
  • Faculty of Business Administration.
  • Faculty of Business Management.
  • Ability to read, writes, speak and understand English.
  • Accept to travel to moderate and high-risk Branches.

      Competencies:

      • Very Good command of the English language (reading, speaking, and writing).
      • Advanced IT knowledge as system usage and software.
      • Ability to manage conflict, prompt action, and decision making enable.
      • High Communication and Negotiation skills.
      • High teamwork skills and multi-culture oriented.
      • Work under pressure and ability to absorb tension and stress.

      Other Requirements:

      • Alexandria Resident.
