Principal Oracle Applications Consultant

Job purpose

• This position is entitled to be the reference for consulting team from aspect of technical & functional experience as well as seniority level.
• This position should have leadership skills to mentor both applications consultants and senior applications consultants.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite mainly + Fusion) application development & setup configuration
• Ability to use Oracle Development tools for E-Business Suite (such as but not limited to SQL, PL/SQL, Forms,
• Reports, Java, ADF, OAF [Oracle Applications Framework], Java, BI Publisher, E-Business API’s, E-Business
• Interfaces, AME, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, Web ADI, ...)
• Responsible for Oracle ERP end-user support with varying degrees of technical abilities, along with follow-up on functional & technical problems raised in Service Requests with Oracle Support or investigated internally
• Perform design, programming, testing, documentation and quality assurance phases of assigned projects.
• Oversees all aspects of user and system documentation, training sessions, systems support
• Conduct Training Sessions for all types of learning (users, administrators, consultants, developers, students, ...)
• Works with software providers to solve user problems for other systems integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite & Oracle Fusion with other technology products
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage information systems and deliver on commitments.
• Design and scope ERP customized/tailored systems, through an achieved understanding of business and the resulting needs of business users.
• Deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective systems including developing high-yielding relationships with external/internal customers.
• Drive internal customer satisfaction by actively monitoring the end-user experience and creating action plans to address significant issues.
• Provide insight on how new technologies could be incorporated to support business growth.
