Job Description

  • Supervise all Educational programs including tours, homeschool classes, overnights, day and week camps, outreach and tabling events, teacher workshops, and field trip.
  • Foster relationships with partner organizations and educational institutions
  • Hire, supervise and provide motivational leadership of the full and part-time education staff
  • Develop curriculum for education programs
  • Manage after school programs, including program design, marketing, and execution
  • Handle educational issues as they develop
  • Develop and work within a yearly budget for projects, labor, and equipment for the Education Department by working directly with Admissions, Finance on handling money generated for educational programs
  • Monitor and approve expenditures through the budget and other sources.
  • Administer the budget for textbooks and software.
  • Coordinate with Administrators in the development of the budget for each department.
  • Develop projections of student personnel populations based upon a grid system and established criteria in order to determine attendance boundaries and school enrollment.
  • Collect and analyze data for the purpose of evaluating progress toward company goals and setting future goals.
  • Coordinate with the Ministry of Education and ongoing evaluation to determine the effectiveness of the instructional program, including curriculum, professional development, assessment, textbooks, technology, and other resources to improve teaching and learning.
  • Coordinate the process for adopting textbooks and instructional programs aligned with District goals.
  • Provide guidance in the selection and use of materials supplemental to textbooks and in the selection of other teaching materials.
  • Report status of programs, services, assessment and evaluation at the request of the Board.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master Degree and Administrative Coursework in Education Related Field
  • Demonstrated classroom teaching ability with three years of teaching experience desired
  • Knowledge of standards and researched-based instruction
  • Successful administrative experience
