Job Description
- To work as the business partner, consultant and vocal proponent of the General Manager.
- To report the results and determine the growth opportunities like investments and sales margins, to develop action plans and to take place in the decision making process,
- Meet with company’s management to give them specific advice and to develop appropriate financial support in accordance with the budget
- To provide financial leadership by means of specific projects and enterprises oriented analysis; to contribute developing systems that would increase the efficiency and productivity of the company,
- To determine the potential menaces that can effect the financial results proactively, to support the process of finding a solution and developing emergency plans accordingly,
- To contribute to form the company’s strategic and operational goals, plans, strategies and support implementation,
- To participate in the long term forecasting process,
- To analyze studies of general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the company’s policies and operations,
- To be responsible for forming company’s overall financial plans, policies, procedures and guidelines,
- To build the appropriate control environment and ensuring the complete obedience to the financial policies, standards, procedures, audits and tax and legal obligations,
- To be responsible of financial accounting (both local practices and US GAAP), reporting, taxation and other Key Performance Indicators,
- To be responsible of cash flow and balance sheet management,
- To execute the process of developing and updating the annual business plan,
- To be in collaboration with the controller and the audit who is responsible of the Region in order to ensure the appropriateness of the internal control process,
- The incumbent is responsible in both internal and external negotiations which will have a major impact on the function from the point of view of representing the Company in governmental bodies (Finance and Tax inspections).
- Deals with complicated, delicate and highly confidential issues which have indirect impact on the Company’s ability to meet goals and complete tasks through financial control, adequate interpretation of financial results and support of financial leaders in matters of proper resource relocation and expenses cutting.
- The regular interface takes place at top and senior management level. Also, the incumbent will be working highly effectively in a matrix environment. S/he will build strong relationships with local and Regional Business Partners.
Job Requirements
- English Skills: Fluent English
- PC/typing skills: PC user (Windows: Word, Excel, Power Point; Hyperion Enterprise)
- Work experience: In finance at a managerial level.
- Practical knowledge of GAAP, local accounting, finance
- Additional skills: Business acumen, aligning objectives, collaborating within matrix, meeting both global & local needs, making fact based decisions, accountability for results, tracking business performance, being a proactive business partner, having sound managerial skills
- Strong expertise in audit, internal control, international accounting standards, and direct selling allow greater success in this role
- The incumbent will have strong communication skills to enable them to modify the beliefs and opinions of their teams and other peers in the Company.
