Job Description
The Network & Security Engineer position will work with a high performing team to develop and design robust networks for Global University.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, design, implement, and provide ongoing support of network systems of high complexity
- Install, configure and provide operational support of these networks’ routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- Ensure all changes go through appropriate review, change control, and acceptance before implementation
- Build and maintain relationships with global teams and third parties on network development or support issues
- Provide highest level of technical consultancy to ensure problem resolution is achieved in the shortest possible time frame
- Development of processes and procedures for use by the Network team and third parties in the management of network environments
- Develop and position solutions and build plans to effectively gain buy-in from all participants
- Operational and engineering support is required for security appliances
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years related experience in infrastructure/network environments and designing, planning, documenting and implementing LANs and WANs using latest technology.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Network & Security Engineering role.
- experience in knowledge/familiarity of various information security systems.
- Experience with different wireless technology.
- Good reading and writing skills.
