Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support to end-users
- Perform software installations and updates
- Maintain accurate client network documentation
- Help engineers from remote access for troubleshooting.
- Set up and configure PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
- Assist senior technicians with network deployment projects
- Troubleshooting sometimes complex technical issues.
- Provide immediate first level support; Whether via phone or remote access including to problem resolution for software/hardware
- Preventive maintenance of the HW and SW according to agreed plans
- Perform minor software and minor hardware repairs
- Diagnosing errors, troubleshoot & maintain network connections or any other computer systems
- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment.
- Handle all documentation for hardware and software, maintenance and problem resolutions
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support or external consultant.
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
- Maintain network servers such as file servers, AD, Print server, etc.
Job Requirements
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- CCNA (Routing and Switching)/ Microsoft MCSA/ ITIL Foundation Holder
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Good Command of English Language
Technical Competencies:
- Experience providing desktop technical support to end-users in a business environment
- Excellent (Windows-Mac-Linux) troubleshooting skills
- Strong skills and understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Office 365 experience
- Strong understanding of network topology and of network configuration
