Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support to end-users
  • Perform software installations and updates
  • Maintain accurate client network documentation
  • Help engineers from remote access for troubleshooting.
  • Set up and configure PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
  • Assist senior technicians with network deployment projects
  • Troubleshooting sometimes complex technical issues.
  • Provide immediate first level support; Whether via phone or remote access including to problem resolution for software/hardware
  • Preventive maintenance of the HW and SW according to agreed plans
  • Perform minor software and minor hardware repairs
  • Diagnosing errors, troubleshoot & maintain network connections or any other computer systems
  • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment.
  • Handle all documentation for hardware and software, maintenance and problem resolutions
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support or external consultant.
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
  • Maintain network servers such as file servers, AD, Print server, etc.

Job Requirements

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • CCNA (Routing and Switching)/ Microsoft MCSA/ ITIL Foundation Holder
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Good Command of English Language

Technical Competencies:

  • Experience providing desktop technical support to end-users in a business environment
  • Excellent (Windows-Mac-Linux) troubleshooting skills
  • Strong skills and understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Office 365 experience
  • Strong understanding of network topology and of network configuration
