Job Summary
- The Design Engineer- Airports participates in design activities for non-complex design projects.
- He closely works with project teams on the development of concept designs, schematic designs detailed designs and tender documents which accommodate the requirements of the client, local authorities, international standards and codes of practice and the requirements of the disciplines.
- He shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the Airport design field and represent the firm and share his expertise and knowledge with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the management of client relations and expectations, as needed.
- Work with team to develop schematic and detailed design and prepare tender documents.
- Review and validate airports design deliverables and monitors the checking and reviews of all design phases.
- Support with budget, schedule, client, technical and quality management activities.
- Develop concept designs, lead the coordination with other disciplines.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor`s degree in Engineering. Master`s degree is preferred.
- Not less than 5 years of experience in Airport planning and design.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, Aviplan, Skysafe, FAARFIELD, Microsoft Office.
- Training Courses: Aviation/airports courses.
- Other required skills: Good knowlege of ICAO, FAA and UFC
