Senior IT Engineer

Main duties

• Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, phone systems, and software applications.
• Update and monitor all the network activity , LAN / WAN performance and network diagram
• Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software, patches and service packs using Microsoft standard tools - SCCM-.
• Perform on-site and remote technical support.
• Assists in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
• Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
• Maintain and support Mobile device Management systems Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balances, VPN, QoS)
• Providing secure access to the network for remote users and ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack;
• Create, monitor, develop the data backup jobs configure , maintain and develop central antivirus system
• Provide daily/ weekly IT report as designed.

Responsibility

• Makes frequent contact with local colleagues cross other departments and on the ITM dep.as well
• Contact both regional and global ITM team in order to align with the corporate standard and provide the required services
• Contacts vendors regarding hardware, software, and communications capabilities, as directed.
