Job Description
Online Banking Applications Support
- Perform the daily technical support tasks and handle the service desk raised tickets related to Online Banking services to respond back to customer and user issues.
- Apply - with vendor involvement, if required - all required updates and upgrades to maintain best performance and to avoid service interruptions.
- Perform all project technical tasks related to Online Banking and report any risks that may affect the project deliverables.
- Report incidents to IT service desk and generate monthly reports of all detected and resolved issues to maintain tracking history.
- Work with application vendor and IT monitoring team to implement the required monitoring tools and alerts for Online Banking services.
- Troubleshoot and provide root-cause analysis report and troubleshooting guide for all issues and problems related to Online Banking services.
- Apply and test the fixes received from the vendor over test environment to ensure that issue is resolved.
- Prepare the Online and mobile Banking related issue log to ensure proper closure.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day- to-day operations
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Online and Mobile banking applications department to ensure continuity of work.
Compliance
- Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
- Adhere to Change Management process
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in Online Banking Applications
- Good technical experience in in Misys Consumer, Corporate Banking, Mobile banking and online applications is preferred.
