Job Description

Description Of Activities And Key Responsibilities Of The Function:

  • Working closely with departments, assisting HR Superintendent to understand and implement policies and procedures; Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation; Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance, and health and safety.
  • Support in recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
  • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.
  • Undertaking regular salary reviews; Administering and maintaining employee records; Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.
  • Developing HR planning strategies with line managers, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels.
  • Support in delivering, training, including inductions for new staff.
  • Support in analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor In Administration / HR Degree or equivalent

  • Take ownership of own objectives agreed upon and the objectives for subordinates

  • Projects organizations in dredging, marine construction and engineering, or equivalent

Years of experience:

  • 5 Years of experience

Verbal Communication / Language Skills:
