Job Description
- Identify and implement VAT optimization opportunities.
- Maintain and monitor local tax relationships with professional advisers.
- Support the accounting team with any tax-related accounting/ financial statement disclosures as applicable.
- Project manage all tax aspects of new business lines and initiatives by identifying, documenting and executing the tax requirements.
- Partner with key contacts in operations, corporate development, finance, treasury, government relations, and legal to identify and implement tax planning strategies and minimize potential tax risks.
- Participate in preparing, review and submit all tax reports and returns to the taxation authority on time (Monthly sales tax return, quarterly salaries tax return, quarterly withholding tax form and other reports)
- Participate in preparing the required analysis for all tax returns
- Participate in preparing the set of procedure SOP for all related jobs.
- Performing accrual reviews annually and preparing the provisions for tax.
- Support external tax adviser for all company tax-related issues
- Attending and handling dispute committees with the tax authority and following up documents
