Job Description

  • Leading sales for LV Motor products and systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships from commercial to administrative functions to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale.
  • Preparing sales plans using company tool (SFDC). Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  • Ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals through effective product or solution presentations and negotiations. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy such as delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing communication to external customers for both current and prospects and communicating the value proposition of the offer to the end customers.
  • Contributing to the development of new market and Executing Low Voltage Motors strategy. Attending regular sales reviews and support overall team to achieve their targets.
  • Ensuring that all commercial and legal aspects are considered during finalization of orders to ensure that ABB’s risk is minimized.
  • Enquiry Generation for complete MOMG LV Motor Portfolio – IEC & NEMA. Generating at least 3 times opportunities or running pipeline to make sure to reach the budget and beyond.
  • Promoting digitalization solutions using smart sensors, bearing sensor, pump sensor. Following up on payment for overdue and potential conflict cases.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 to 10yrs of exp in sales for motors.
  • Proven track record as sales engineer for Motors
  • Background in mechanical products or Mechanical Power transmission would be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical expertise in IEC and NEMA standard
  • Good communication and presentation skills is required.
