Job Description
- Draft, implement, analyze, review, and test the potential products, interior modifications, new designs, and product configurations to promote our products portfolio and enhance our class leading customer experience.
- Consult with the clients regarding their available space, needs, and style preferences.
- Manage all the processes related to produce a set of drawings for the designs and products. This includes, but is not limited to, programming, layouts, design packages, handoff packages, manufacturing documentation and space planning.
- Ensure design deliverables adhere to any quality assurance policies and procedures and are as per the company's vision and strategy as well as assist in drawings and catalogs for custom furniture, lighting, and flooring.
- Work closely with other departments (sales, operations, technical office and procurement as well as the factory).
- Research the market for additional vendors to source new and existing interior design products including cost reduction initiatives, improving production capabilities, customizing and sampling, and vendor compliance with durability requirements
- Represent the company in the different exhibitions.
- Perform any tasks or missions assigned by the direct manager or the top management as per the business needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of fine arts or applied arts or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in interiors & furniture design
- Innovative, artistic, creative, space planning, presentable, well organized, flexible and customer satisfaction oriented
- Very good command of spoken & written English Language
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD / 3D Studio / Rhino / Photoshop
- Excellent command of MS Office applications (Word – Excel - PowerPoint)
- Having a customer service/sales background, aware of the furniture/interiors industry and the manufacturing phases and components is highly preferred.
