Role Description:
- Implementing and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Identifying and defining system security requirements.
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
- Supporting all university staff with any technical issues they are facing.
- Assign tasks for the Junior team member and check follow up with them.
- Helping academic staff with any issues related to network, internet and software problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor all infrastructure servers (Active Directory, File server, AV server, Backup server, FortiGate firewall)
- Technical issues.
- Network and internet Performance.
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
- Analyze FortiGate logs and reports.
- Analyze Kaspersky server logs and reports.
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
- Schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Handle all operating system license.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree of computer science engineering or relevant field.
- English: Good.
- Experience in building and maintaining security systems.
- Certified Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft (MCSE) . FortiGate NSE4, Redhat RHCSA&E.
- Good Knowledge of Firewall & Network Security.
- Good Knowledge of CISCO and HP switches.
- Good Knowledge of Email Server (Google Apps, Office 365 , Exchange ……. ).
