Job Description
- Determine the project’s procurement weight and assign it to the responsible team and coordinator, and get the Procurement manager’s approval on all assigned roles and the utilization of the subordinates’ experiences.
- Review the project material list and proposed vendor list that was prepared by the team leader and send it for approval to the Procurement manager.
- Confirm the project procurement plan, strategy, and division of responsibilities in coordination with the Operations team to be approved by the procurement manager.
- Review the submittal compliance of the contracts with the project’s needs.
- Discuss the proposed project strategy plan with the top management in order to consolidate it and reach a final plan for all projects.
- Review the weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports that are submitted by subordinates to ensure that all data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Create monthly and quarterly reports to be presented to the management.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to check the site conditions and handle the requirements needed from the Procurement department at the site.
- Coordinate with the Planning & Cost Control, Operations, Finance, and Purchasing departments to be aligned with the progress of the project.
- Assign and distribute work load equitably on all team members based on their job levels and expertise to effectively manage the department objectives through them.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience and relevant experience in construction.
- Certified International Procurement and Supply Chain (CIPS) is a plus.
- Excellent command of English Language
- Willing to work in 10th of Ramadan City
