Job Description
Network Security & Information Section team lead Engineer, responsible for :
- Implement, configure, operate the network, network security, information security products including LAN, WAN and wireless communications
Job Requirements
- Availability to work on-call and non-standard hours when necessary.
- Function at a senior engineer level in a global enterprise environment
- Provide management level updates as required Skills/Experience
- Hands-on experience with traditional and next-generation Firewalls including multiple vendors like juniper SRX, force point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco and McAfee
- Strong experience with enterprise networks, routing, and switching
- Detailed knowledge of transport (TCP/UDP) and application layer (HTTP, FTP, etc.) protocols
- Detailed knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and web proxies
- Experience with enterprise operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Good knowledge with monitoring systems including application and networks
- Good knowledge with experience in Web Gateways product like Bluecoat, Cisco, McAfee, ForcePoint, or Trendmicro
- Understanding of email protocols as operational and functional perspectives
- Good knowledge with experience in Email Gateways good experience like McAfee, ForcePoint, Barracuda or others
- Good knowledge with experience in F5 product including LTM, ASM and APM technology (preferred)
- Good knowledge of FireEye products.
- Have experiences with MGMT software and network sizing tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills – the ability to get to the root of the problem, assess impact, and develop a resolution plan quickly, leveraging all available resources, is essential.
- Experience with full packet capture/analysis systems
- Identify security deficiencies or gaps and design cost-effective solutions to mitigate them
- Good understanding of enterprise security management practices including incident response, security operations casework, forensic analysis, intelligence gathering, and malware analysis
- Good knowledge with professional service including implement and monitor network analysis tools, vulnerability assessment and management (preferred)
- Certified, preferred with vendors like juniper, F5, Forcepoint, PaloAlto, Cisco
- Develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related network devices
- Design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including the use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures
- Review and approve the installation of firewall, VPN, routers, IDS scanning technologies, and servers
- Provide technical supervision for (and guidance to) a security team
- Update and upgrade security systems as needed
- Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies and procedures
- Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis
- Test final security structures to ensure they behave as expected
- Graduate of reliable University in Egypt. Communication or Computer Engineering Department
