The Business Development Manager has a diverse focus into different business areas, playing multiple roles within all engaged parties organizations:
Software: Customer Success:
The successful leader will directly impact their customers who have purchased Cisco subscription solutions and will provide strategic insights to Cisco cross functional stakeholders.
- Accountable for ensuring that; customers successfully adopt and realize value from Cisco's subscription solutions.
- Developing and executing the strategy that will accelerate the time it takes for customers to achieve the business outcomes they planned to receive from Cisco subscription offers.
- Responsible for finding opportunities to expand wallet share within a customer and/or partner and effectively passing those opportunities to the sales teams.
- The CSM will build deep relationships with customer senior leadership, partners and the extended Cisco account team members in achieving their goals.
- Understands the customer business goals, environment, pain points and operational maturity.
- Help the customer accelerate through the value lifecycle to realize their outcomes and drive successful renewals.
- Provide detailed and documented requirements to cross functional teams that improve the impact of the customer experience.
- Develop and deliver Quarterly Success Reviews in partnership with account team.
Architectures: Business Development:
The successful Business Development Manager will focus on how to develop Silicon21 partner landscape in the focused business areas through:
- Develop Cisco focused architectures selling to Silicon21 focused partners and grab new business from the competition.
- Utilize marketing funds to develop activities to generate new sales leads and add incremental business.
- Arrange opportunities between different stakeholders (Silicon21, Cisco AM, Engaged partner, etc.…)
- Present Cisco focused architectures portfolio to focused partners and enhance existing relationships.
- Identifies new business opportunities for Cisco focused architectures portfolio by analyzing prospects and turn this into incremental business.
- Identify and communicate with decision makers within partner/end customer organizations.
- Work with internal team to develop proposals that speaks to the partner /end user needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Present Cisco focused architectures portfolio to focused channel partners.
- Generate and communicate pipeline, arrange with Cisco / Partner AM proper actions to close open opportunities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is a must; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology Industry.
- Experience with subscription and software offering models is a plus.
- Cisco career certifications are a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
