Job Description
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in heavy transport vehicles & equipment (solid waste collection vehicles).
- The ability to set up regular maintenance programs and supervise their implementation
- Determining the spare parts needed for maintenance or repair, and supervising their installation.
- Follow up with new trucks during the warranty period and follow up with the supplier to avoid any complaints.
- Submitting regular periodic reports on the progress of work, showing any problems or obstacles in a timely manner, and providing the vision to solve these problems
- Submit periodic abstracts to the client and follow up their collection
- Familiar with Health & Safety requirements at worksites and quality control.
- Monitor and control the actual budget not to exceed the planned.
- Setting timetables for carrying out work and following up on its implementation.
Job Requirements
- BSc of mechanical engineering (preferred automotive)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the site's operation & Execution.
- Excellent command of English language, reading, writing and speaking.
- Previous experience in automotive engineering (Iveco solid waste transport vehicles preferred).
- Knowledge and familiarity with heavy transport vehicle components and operating theories (engine - gearbox - transmission chain and hydraulic circuit)
- Familiar with the work of assembly and disassembly for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.
- The ability to deal with clients and subordinates at different levels.
- Excellent computer skills.
