Your Role and Responsibilities

  • IBM Financial Analysts play a unique and integral role in driving business decisions, supporting operations and influencing business results.
  • As a Senior Financial Analyst you are considered to be a trusted business advisor, working within the company's business units and geographies, as well as in a myriad of specialized corporate functions.
  • In this role you'll be responsible for the analysis of the IBM forecast, budget, actuals and business metrics and dynamics.
  • You'll interact directly with line management in the business units and geographies on the development of forecast and budget variance analysis, and provide ongoing business assessments and recommended solutions.
  • You'll also experience opportunities for skills development training and leadership development.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, knowledge in Finance, Accounting and treasury concepts
  • Knowledge in Finance Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting or Services Accounting
  • Knowledge in MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point
  • English: Fluent
  • Preferred Accounting/Finance Certified in ACCA, MBA, CA, CIMA, CPA
  • Relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Strong communicator, great interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Flexible and Adaptable
  • Demonstrated good leadership and initiative

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Master degree or equivalent preferably in the area of Accounting / Finance from a reputable educational institution. (MBA Finance , ACCA , CA)
  • Minimum 4/5 years professional experience in the area of Finance / Accounting from a reputable company preferably a multinational / audit firm (big 4) . Extensive professional experience in mnc in area of accounting / finance
  • Strong understanding of Accounting standards & principles
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • Must be a strong team player to bring together the relevant stakeholders in handling projects and addressing challenges
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities with high focus on integrity
  • Fluent in English
