Job Description

A leading Learning and Development organization is looking for motivated and ambitious candidates for Learning and Development Manager Post that will Lead the efforts of the Learning and Development Department in creating solutions, and developing and customizing learning journey for our partners, and clients.

The Selected candidate will be working along with “Business Development” team on interfacing with Global Terminology’s clients. He will be responsible for developing and delivering learning solutions that meet clients’ needs. Develop high level proposals such as long term projects, tenders, special projects, etc. using outcome based solutions including assessment, learning tracking, evaluation methodologies, etc...

The selected candidate will lead the efforts of enhancing the training materials library of Global Terminology over the time period, including supporting activities, games, tests and assessment.

The Learning and Development Manager will be in charge of suggesting new learning initiatives, assessing new certifications, programs and their potential value to the business, he will run market intelligence to assess competitor’s capabilities and make recommendations, assist with product development and pricing strategy, manage trainers’ selection and on boarding.

Perform all other duties as directed within the limits of skill, competence and training to maximize flexibility and effectiveness

Main Duties:

  • Make sure that L&D forms are developed as per GT standard format.
  • Creating workshops’ materials, customize the content, and find an appropriate solution
  • Create proposals, new programs, new activities for each workshop.
  • Recommend a new format for proposals and materials be more appealing and competitive.
  • Recommend new Trainings programs
  • Enhancing training materials library of GT over the time period, including supporting activities, games, tests and assessment.
  • Design and deliver learning courses, workshops and other trainings.
  • Manage the training needs analysis with the client to identify learning gaps within the organization and identify learning outcomes to be achieved.
  • Designing training programs and deliver training in line with the development strategy of the company;
  • Lead L&D team members on the delivery of all elements of the L&D strategy.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and development to team members to build capability and deliver organizational requirements.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate has to have experience in designing, developing and delivering training material; developing a training strategy and understanding of different training methods and channels, and has instructional deign background will be an added value.
  • The perfect candidate should be a motivated, ambitious, proactive individual with a high capacity for learning.
  • Display a high level of personal integrity and professionalism when representing GT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in training and development, human resources, education, or instructional design.
  • Proven work experience in the same position: 5+ years.
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs (assess needs, plan, develop, delivering, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong writing and record-keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Excellent command of English.
