Job Description
- Communicate effectively with business, dev.
- Ability to write test cases effectively and find any unaligned scenarios
- Execute test cases and ability to highlight and log the issues clearly and explain them to the dev team
- Ability to run UAT with the business and guide them through the different applications scenarios
- Ensure any production issue and try to reproduce it on staging/testing environments
- Run sanity checks on deployments before being applied to production
- Sign off the deployment GO
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Good command of English and communication skills.
- 4+ years of experience in testing desktop, web and mobile applications
- Strong understanding of writing effective test cases and executing them
- Working with one of these bug tracking tools JIRA, Bugzilla,
- Experience in using one of load testing tools as JMETER or HP load runner
- Experience of relational database using SQL
- Strong background in JavaScript, HTML and XML including DOM, SAX, XPath and Schemas.
- Using Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus
- Experience in using automation testing is a plus
