Job Description
- Ensure to achieve the set target of the revenue by obtaining new clients to the company
- Identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities in Bonds, T-bills & EGY stocks
- Manage deal prospects, from a pipeline to term sheet negotiations to deal close
- Conduct economic, market, industry and sector research
- Conduct deal analysis and detailed due diligence (commercial, financial, and legal)
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation and analysis
- Structuring and execution of transactions, legal documentation and deal close
- Craft outstanding investment memos and excellent presentations
- Strike strategic partnerships and maintain a strong presence in the ecosystem with various stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong professional networks and contacts database
- Support the growth of Egypt Ventures’ portfolio companies
- Prepare investor and board reports and presentations
- Prepare fundraising documents
- Execute various projects as needed, including events, conference, as well as operational and administrative activities
Job Requirements
- CFA or CMA holder or candidates will be highly appreciated
- 7+ years of work experience in a related investment field (e.g. VC/PE/IB, investment, consulting, etc.)
- Outstanding financial and analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheet modeling
- Strong business acumen and deep understanding of venture capital and entrepreneurship ecosystems
- Passion for identifying and working with high‐growth potential startups
- Self‐starter, able to initiate projects and work independently
- Excellent personal rapport and ability to engender trust and respect
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage self/time to meet commitments
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Operating and technical experience in a startup is a plus.
