Job Description
- Establish the milestones required to ensure successful progression and communicate those clearly to client and Site team.
- Supervise and manage all site activities, overseeing all aspects of construction work.
- Manage and monitor performance of construction staff and ensuring completion of electrical tasks in accordance with construction plans, ensure compliance with client requirements and specification.
- Ensure appropriate quality and workmanship.
- Ensure that safety standards are understood, implemented and maintained by all team members.
- Ensure that all works carried out are undertaken within current codes of practice and the applicable standard
- Raise any issues may affect progress, ensure work quality are maintained.
- Produce a labor schedule with project manager to ensure packages are placed in time to meet the program.
- Maintain the schedule, working progress, keeping records on file and reporting weekly to project manager.
- Check availability of all equipment and materials required for construction activity are in line with the construction schedule.
- Co-ordinate closely with the project team and facilitate the safe progress of works.
- Provide first aid facilities
- Any additional tasks that might be necessary for work.
- Reporting to Project Manager and Construction Manager.
- Able to communicate with client, consultants and other project team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Power engineering
- At least +10 years of relevant professional experience, preferred +3 years of experience in HV/MV Substations field experience.
- Previous experience in the energy sector is essential.
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Site Manager.
- MS office.
- Excellent communication skills oral and written.
- Ability to lead, coordinate and manage a large team.
- Time management skills and great ability to meet deadlines.
- Very Good command of English Language.
- Team leadership.
