Job brief
We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms.
You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.
Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.
Responsibilities
- Your primary focus will be the development of Cross platform mobile applications and their integration with our back-end services.
- You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
- Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
- Create clean interfaces and smooth interactions based on UI/UX designs and documentation for a range of devices, including mobiles, tablets and desktops.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Experience
- Strong knowledge of React Native SDK and ability to write native modules for Android and iOS devices if needed
- Proficient with HTML and CSS
- Good knowledge of javascript
- Good understanding of ES6
- Experience with React and Redux
- Experience with React Navigation
- Experience with Expo
- Familiarity with RESTful /SOAP APIs
- Comfortable with code versioning tools as Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Strong programming & Communication skills
- Speaking English and Arabic
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with building and deploying to app stores
- Good knowledge of backend technologies
- Good knowledge on testing frameworks like Jest
