Senior GIS Development Lead

• Experience of 10 years or plus
• Develop customized web applications, web services, mobile, and enterprise solutions
• Develop geoprocessing and GIS web services Develop GIS web editing/mapping applications Conduct performance, unit, system, integration, and quality assurance testing of applications
• Maintain existing applications/services
• Upgrade and migrate existing applications/services to current version/systems architecture
• Provide end user support and creates support documentation
• Work closely with other developers and architects
• Estimate work effort and proposes development solutions Independently organize, conceptualize and conduct large, advanced spatial analyses as part of a team or as a technical team leader
• Work with project teams and clients to design and effectively employ GIS on regulatory and permitting elements of infrastructure projects
• Assist the team with project marketing, budget development, and resource scheduling
• Prepare quality assurance plans for GIS tasks and oversee their implementation Create maps, databases, and other deliverables on short notice
• Develop geodatabase schemas and analysis methods needed to support project goals
• Develop vector and raster spatial analysis models using ModelBuilder, Python or other GIS scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks
• Develop and support web GIS applications using Esri Web App Builder, Story Maps, Collector, Survey within the ArcGIS Online platform Understand client specifications for GIS deliverables and validate that deliverables meet those specifications, including metadata; understand HDR GIS standards and follow/enforce those standards
• Communicate and collaborate with remote team members and individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical
• Manage client and project data
