Job Description
The Capacity Building Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Work with Institutional Development/Capacity Building (ICB) team to design, prepare materials for, and successfully implement all training activities.
- Work with Communications team and objective teams for training materials and outreach materials.
- Coordinate with the Operations Specialist to provide logistical arrangements required for training implementation
- Work with the ICB Manager to plan and estimate budgets for training programs, as required by organizational planning and budgeting systems
- Manage the training schedule for the ICB team and ensure that training plans are in accordance with the work plan.
- Work with the ICB team to ensure that all deliverables and project requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Oversee and review the data entry of the training data through the organization’s data bases
- Serve as the focal point for TraiNet USAID database system (Initiator – R1).
- Provide field support to the training courses in and out of Cairo.
- Coordinate meetings and draft meeting minutes for the Capacity Building team.
- Other tasks as assigned by the ICB Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility in office administration
- Minimum 1 years' experience working in training & development for USAID funded projects preferred.
- Accuracy in working with large amounts of data
- Ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive demands & inquiries
- Proficiency using Microsoft office suite, and other relevant software
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills as well as exceptional customer relations
- Provides sound business judgment and contractual oversight
- Excellent communications skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and of different backgrounds
- Extremely well organized and self-directed individual
