Job Description
A.I Impact Officer has the responsibility of building frameworks and supporting with evaluating, qualifying and quantifying the impact of Synapse Analytics A.I deployments across the different industries and clients. They will be concerned with researching impact strategies, by providing input, comprehensive advice, support and analysis to project teams, clients and Synapse executives board before, during and after deployments.
- Providing input into Current Impact frameworks, consultations and other discussions of strategic importance to the future direction of research impact
- Implementing appropriate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system is in place and is functioning satisfactorily. Periodically review and revise the system so that it is adapted appropriately to changing operating contexts.
- Responsible for organizing and managing monitoring reviews, evaluations
- Convene with teams across company and assist with the preparation of the impact strategies, and evaluation criteria.
- Ensures that Synapse Analytics Impact framework is followed and manifested in the projects deployed.
- Guiding quality of customer satisfaction during, and after deployments
- Proactively advising on all aspects of research impact to heads of departments.
- Communicating and publishing Impact research results.
- Researching on the progress of A.I in industry in terms of current and potential impact.
- Advising the Executive board of Synapse on how to achieve Synapse Analytics impact goal
- Create and maintain web pages related research impact
- Working with academic partners to develop research impact activities
- Support the organization of events and delivery of materials in order to promote impact results.
- Establishing appropriate indicators of impact
- Writing impact reports that are clear, with necessary analysis
- Communicating M&E results, provided in a user-friendly format to key stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Finance
- 2-5 Years in industry/academic research, monitoring and evaluation or relevant roles
- Good Mathematical and numerical skills with excellent knowledge of quantitative finance topics like Geometric Brownian Motion, Stochastic Calculus, Partial Differential Equations, Monte Carlo simulation etc.
- Experience in working with data to identify trends, patterns and to make recommendations in a client-facing environment.
- Flexible and accustomed to ambiguous situations, motivated to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team of professionals
- Analytical mindset and understanding of different industries' business models.
- Ability to work effectively in fluid environments with effective time-management/prioritization skills while working with a team-oriented, high growth business.
